鲁惟一 《剑桥中国古代史》的主编之一。生于１９２２年，英国剑桥大学东方学院博士，曾任剑桥大学东亚系主任，现为剑桥大学荣休教授。１９４５年开始研究中国历史文化，２０世纪６０年代从居延汉简着手开始研究简牍，１９６３年从英国伦敦大学转至剑桥大学任教至退休。著有《汉代行政记录》、《剑桥中国秦汉史》、《汉代的信仰、神话和理性》等。
